Arguably one of the UK’s greatest gardens, RHS Garden Wisley is 240 acres of flawless flowers and plants. There are countless formal and informal gardens for you to explore, as well as several glasshouses with tropical, temperate, and desert climates that sit majestically in the middle of a lake.

See the exquisite Bowes-Lyon Rose Garden or marvel at the delightful wildflowers that pop up in the orchards. As you’re walking through, see how many types of fruits you can count in the orchards! (Hint: apples and pears are the most popular.)

Wander along the canal to explore the different gardens. See if you can find one of the many waterfalls hide within. Explorers will enjoy the rock garden and alpine meadow which sit on inclined locations and requires careful navigation!

One unique feature of Wisley is the petite “model gardens” that are cultivated to show guests what you can achieve in your own garden! These design rooms allow you to recreate the wonderful Wisley gardens to your own backyard! Stop by the vegetable garden to see how to grow your own food!

Make sure to stop by the Butterfly Lovers Pavilion, a stunning pagoda set on the water whose name speaks for itself.

If you’re planning a trip to Wisley, make sure to check out the many special events they host throughout the year. One of the most popular events is the craft fair days, which feature inventive, Made in Britain crafts!
