There is so much to see and do at Newquay Zoo! Everyone in the family will be delighted and amazed by the variety of animals to be found here. The zoo is home to more than 300 animals of 130 different species, making for an entertaining day out for everyone. Because Newquay is part of the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust, visitors have the opportunity to see many endangered animals that may very well never be seen again!

Walk through the thirteen acre park to see shy red pandas, friendly lemurs and meerkats, and every animal you can imagine! Of course, Newquay has all your favourites, from ice-loving penguins to sun-seeking lions. You can even help the zookeepers feed the penguins and other animals during feeding time! There are so many animal encounters for you to experience; it will feel like you’ve become part of the animal kingdom.

Newquay is perfect to get up close and personal with your most beloved animal friends. There is even a walk-through aviary to have fun with your favourite Madagascar birds. Look out for the mynah bird – he’s very friendly and loves to chat!

Warm up in the tropical house, where you can experience the rainforest right in England. From slow-moving sloths to tropical birds and reptiles, you’ll be fascinated by the diversity of species that comes from the tropics.

Kids will enjoy the Tarzan adventure trail, which is perfect to keep them occupied and engaged. There is also a children’s activity centre for kids to let off some steam and a dragon maze to test your cleverness!
