Visit the Gem Rock Museum in Dumfries and Galloway in beautiful Scotland for an “experience you’ll treasure forever.”

The Gem Rock Museum is run by the Stephenson family, who have amassed the most remarkable private collection of gemstones in the UK. Glittering from all corners, in every colour imaginable, the museum houses a spectacular display of crystals, gemstones, fossils and rocks that is a feast for the eyes!

The museum is located close to Wigtown Bay and is surrounded by beautiful woodland areas. Visitors are welcomed in by curator Tim Stephenson, who will also provide you with information about the collection, as well as educating you on the fascinating details of gemmology. You will also be taken down into the crystal cave to view a marvellous display of naturally glowing rocks and will have access to the Prospectors Pantry Café for a bite to eat.

Whether you’re a rock and gemstone enthusiast, a lover of Scotland or a continuous student in search of your next lesson, the Gem Rock Museum in Creetown is perfect for all the family!
