This is not just a day out for the kids, as parents too will have plenty of fun trying to work out some of the weirdest optical illusions on display at Camera Obscura.

For more than 150 years, Camera Obscura has been delighting audiences with its famous optical illusions at the Camera Obscura show.  By popular demand, Camera Obscura has been expanding its world of wonder to include exhibits like the Magic Gallery and the World of Illusions.

The Light Fantastic, the largest display of holograms in Europe, will have you grabbing at thin air with numerous holograms and 3D pictures that seek to confuse your mind. Not for the faint of heart, you’ll be scared witless with their collection of Horror-grams that includes a giant tarantula!

Visitors can also enjoy a trip to the rooftop where they can marvel at the 360 degree view of Edinburgh’s picturesque locations. You can journey into the city with the rooftop telescopes and a series of boards to help you identify the best views.

If you love to be intrigued and if puzzles are your thing then you will love this place. It makes for a brilliant day out with something for the entire family.
