Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway runs a 15 inch gauge steam railway, every weekend with trains running from 10am. Climb onboard and chug along the two mile coastal track, overlooking the Humber Estuary. Fantastic fun for everyone, learn about seaside railways at the Rails to Sands exhibition, or visit the Griffin Hall Museum to see the Sutton Colfield Collection. Built in 1948, the North East Lincolnshire railway has always been a popular attraction, running from Kingsway station, over a viaduct, and along the sea wall to North Sea Lane station. Still a fantastic tourist attraction, locals also use the railway to get from A to B as a charming alternative to their usual form of travel.

Picturesque in every way, the miniature railway delights visitors young and old, and is unique in the fact that it The East Coast’s last remaining narrow gauge steam railway. Make a day of it and visit the Brief Encounters Tea Room, the museum and exhibition, The Station Master’s gift shop and the smallest pub on the planet – The Signal Box Inn!
