Bateaux London can be found at the Embankment Pier of Victoria Embankment and provides a quality family day out on the River Thames, with breathtaking backdrops while dining in regal surroundings – something that few other family attractions can boast.

A voyage aboard one of Bateaux London’s two cruisers is just the ticket for a special meal in a special environment. The 184-foot Symphony Parisien riverboat can cater for 308 people and provides live entertainment during its Thames River Dinner and Sunday Lunch Jazz cruises.

Every Bateaux Thames restaurant cruise plies past the London Eye, Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge, and the Symphony’s glass super-structure means that there are unspoiled and breathtaking vistas, while the exterior viewing platforms offer the best seat in the house.

The 112-foot Naticia welcomes up to 180 guests and its regal royal blue and dark wood interior has a classical ambience. The split-level vessel boasts a gallery above its dance-floor and top-flight exterior view points on its upper and lower decks. Another novel feature of the Naticia is its sliding roof, which is open when the weather is fine, affording a memorable dance beneath the stars.

Bateaux London also operates exquisite lunch cruises for business parties and those on a special family day out – just the ticket after a morning in the City. Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge, the Millennium Bridge and Houses of Parliament are among the numerous sights to see on a journey from Embankment or Waterloo Pier, and professional photographers are on hand to capture the moment.

Bateaux London is renowned for its modern European cuisine, and Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruises provide 150 minutes on the river with three courses and live music, running through Mainstream, Dixieland, Trad and Smooth jazz from the ‘American Songbook’ – such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra and George Benson. Evening festivities commence at eight and Bateaux London’s Entertainment Director worked with Whitney Houston, Prince, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones and even Mr. Benson, so an enthralling family day out capped by amazing music is assured!

Bateaux London also holds private functions with bands, Salsa Dancing Instruction, Fanfare Trumpeters, a Harpist, a DJ, banquets, buffets, and entertainers including magicians and caricaturists (details are on the Bateaux London website). A trip can also be extended to Canary Wharf, Greenwich or Battersea, and a stop to get aboard the London Eye can be pre-booked as well.

In addition, Bateaux London caters for weddings with up to 350 guests on the Symphony or 220 aboard the Naticia. With disabled facilities on both boats, they ensure a grand family day out for everybody to enjoy.
