Built as a fantasy castle, it is undoubtedly a firm statement of Victorian wealth and power. With impressive views of both Snowdonia Mountains and the Menai strait, Penrhyn Castle is a delight for nature lovers and history buffs alike. Admire the sea views from the Barbican Gate!

An enormous castle, Penrhyn is full of quirky fascinators such as a one-ton slate bed made for Queen Victoria. This fantasy castle features intricate carvings and plasterwork, as well as mock-Norman furniture and an exceptional assortment of paintings by the likes of Rembrandt.
