Grab your gear and head on out to the Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre. Located in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, there is so much to see and enjoy that you’ll want to come back again and again.

Whether you’re a keen hiker or simply fancy a wander in breath-taking surroundings, there are miles of stunning walks to get stuck into. Or why not try a spot of horse riding or even orienteering?

For those mountain bikers amongst you, there are lots of mountain biking trails for you to explore. The Syfydrin Trail for instance takes you to tall open hillside and will prove to be a real challenge. If you want something a little less extreme then don’t panic, all of the routes are graded from easy right through to severe.

After all of this exercise, what better way to relax than to grab some refreshments from the Visitor Centre café. Take a seat and admire the brilliant lakeside view. If you time it right you’ll get to see the Red Kites at feeding time. These creatures, endowed with powerful grace, are a real treat to watch up close and the spectacle will never get old.

The nature experience doesn’t stop there however. Once you’ve recharged your batteries, take the kids on the Animal Puzzle Trail and see how many different species you can spot.

The Visitor Centre is open all-year round so whatever the season you can enjoy the delights of this diverse and vibrant location. It promises to be the perfect day out for visitors of all ages and abilities and really will put a smile on your face.
