A great value family day out in Scottish Borders, Jedforest Deer & Farm Park offers stunning views, a wide range of wildlife and interesting walks for the whole family. Nestled in the Jed Valley, it takes advantage of the beautiful surroundings of the Cheviot Hills. Jedforest Deer & Farm Park showcases the beautiful rolling countryside of the Scottish countryside, with streams and woods to explore, all set against sweeping hills.

The farm is that of a typical Borders farm, home to 1,000 breeding ewes, Hereford cross suckler cows, and of course acres of land where a herd of red deer roam. There is a rare breeds section in the park. It strives to conserve breeds of livestock, many of which have completely disappeared from British farms over the last 50 years. However, The Rare Breeds Survival Trust which is backed by like-minded local people and the national society, have saved many breeds from extinction. They can be seen and enjoyed at Jedforest Farm & Park.

To finish off the impressive range of animals on show at Jedforest Farm & Park, Falconry Scotland gives you the opportunity to handle falcons, owls and eagles, with demonstrations every day, showing off the birds’ impressive wing spans and flying speeds. Its an experience you won’t forget in a hurry!
