Blair Castle stands impressively near the village of Blair Atholl in Perthshire, Scotland. One of Scotland’s major stately homes, Blair Castle is home to the Clan Murray family, as well as a vast collection of weapons, hunting trophies, paintings, furniture and souvenirs of the Murray clan. Enjoy a tour of 30 rooms and learn about the fascinating exhibits they contain as you soak up the grandeur and timelessness of Blair Castle.

Begin in the entrance hall and continue up the Picture Staircase, through to the dining room, into the Ante Room and further as you discover fine family portraits and displays of decor and architecture across 7 centuries as the castle was remodelled and refurbished. For an even closer look at Blair’s chequered past, take part in one of Blair Castle Attic Tours, take you beyond the realms of the daily life of the castle. Creep up spiral staircases and see evidence of bygone eras where staff scurried along corridors of the top floor, how they would have lived and how the attics have changed. The tour climaxes in one last climb onto the rooftop for a breathtaking, 360 degree view of the castle grounds and surrounding estate.
