Are dogs allowed into Portmeirion?
Only guide dogs are allowed into the village appart from three self-catering cottages where dogs are accepted. We ensure a shady spot to park your car if you have a dog.
Is there a car park nearby ?
We have ample parking space right by the village entrance. We do not charge a parking fee. There are several disabled parking spaces close to the entrance. If you have a dog we can ensure your car is parked in a shady spot.
News
Portmeirion has a rolling programme of events detailed at its website. Among them in spring 2008 was a Prisoner convention featuring actors from "The Schizoid Man" and a screening with them. Prisoner parades, props and costumes marked the series’ 40th anniversary.
