Visit the Whitehouse Farm Centre in Northumberland and enjoy a wide collection of animals from your usual farm mixed with some exotic birds and reptiles! Not quite a zoo, but certainly not your ordinary petting farm either!

The farm centre has been open since 1997 and began as a small petting farm. Over the years, the collection of animals has grown to include more exotic creatures, such as snakes and wallabies – animals you certainly wouldn’t normally find down on the farm!

There is so much for families to do at the farm centre. The farm allows visitors the chance to pet and feed most of the animals and gorgeous little babies will be found in spring and summer. Some of the farm’s popular animals include ponies, llamas, wallabies, and micro pigs, all of which are just so adorable and a joy to experience up close.

Set in the beautiful Northumberland, a stay in Northumberland would have to include a trip to the nearby National Park, as well as the east coast. The area is a rural part of England spread with fields and fields of countryside with some of Britain’s best views.
