Visit the home of contemporary art and culture in the heart of Liverpool based on the banks of the beautiful River Mersey.

Tate Liverpool is one of four Tate galleries in the UK and is known for its contemporary art collection. It also features a spectacular collection of work from the 1500s to present day. The Tate is known for its weird and wacky exhibitions and the gallery holds temporary exhibits throughout the year. But the gallery also houses great works of art from renowned artists throughout history, as well as sculptures and interactive displays.

Liverpool is a great place for a family trip; you could spend a week just exploring all the galleries and museums along Albert Dock. If you’re looking for great family fun, then Liverpool is definitely the place to go!

Located in a prime spot along the River Mersey, Tate Liverpool is situated close to other great places of interest in Liverpool, such as the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum. The area is bustling with people and has so much to see and do, it has everything a visitor could want or need!
