A brewery has stood on the site in Hartlepool for over 150 years and has been home to the Camerons since 1865. Camerons brewery is the only independent regional brewery in the North East and uses the finest of ingredients to produce its award winning ales and lagers. Even the water is sourced from a local well!

The visitor centre offers ale and lager fanatics the chance to get an insight into beer production, as well as social history and political manoeuvring surrounding the brewery. Trace brewing through the ages from its humble origins in 1865, right through to the present day.  Take a tour of the brewery, where ticket holders will see how Camerons beer is made, and meet the people behind the great tasting beer who will answer all your questions. The brewing hall is something to be marvelled at, with its Italian marbled-lined walls and the warming smell of hops and wheat that entice your taste buds.

Camerons know that tours can be thirsty work, and so after your tour they invite you to relax and enjoy yourself in their atmospheric, cosy bar, where you can enjoy a range of their beer, including the award-winning Camerons Strongarm: the brewery’s flagship beer.
