Broom House Farm Adventure Trail is a family attraction at Broomhouse Farm, near Durham offering an exciting, action packed day out for every member of the family. Follow the nature trails while puzzling over the woodland quiz and challenges, climb the towers up to the oak tree walk – a higher level walkway with balance beams, tunnels and slides. Descend the walkway and race someone at the oak tree challenge, a circuit of obstacles and challenges! Step back and enjoy the little surprises that nature provides as you surround yourself in tranquil scenery and wildlife.

Broom House Farm, as well as rearing organic livestock and growing their own crops for feed, are dedicated to conservation to improve the natural wildlife on their land. Restoring hay meadows, establishing beetle stripes and wildlife corridors, coppicing hedgerows and restoring ponds and ancient stone walls are just some examples of what is done to increase the natural biodiversity on the farm. As a result an increase in curlews, brown hairs and partridges has been noticed by owners and visitors alike.

Re-energise in the Broom House Farm Café and dig into delicious cakes, coffees and light lunches, always using local, seasonal ingredients, and, their fully organic Aberdeen Angus and ridgeback pork produce.
