Jack the Ripper and the East End
Museum in Docklands is returning to the scene of London's most infamous crimes in Jack the Ripper and the East End, the first exhibition to explore the Jack the Ripper murders and their enduring legacy.
News
From 15 May to 2 November 2008 Museum In Docklands hosts the metropolis’ first major exhibition on Jack The Ripper, taking in police files about the unresolved series of prostitute killings in 1888-89, photos, letters from the public, and from the alleged Ripper. The re-created sights, sounds and smells from the maze of late-Victorian Whitechapel streets can be experienced by ticket holders, while Booth poverty maps and media coverage of the time add to the atmosphere.
