A Special Exhibition about the Munich Air Disaster’s 50th Anniversary is on till November 2008 and outlines how the Busby Babes won the 1956/57 First Division League titles. It shows how the team entered the European Cup for the second year running and, after returning from the quarter-final against Red Star Belgrade, crashed at Munich airport, killing 23 of 44 people aboard, including 11 players and club staff members. In addition, Manchester United Museum holds Object Handling Sessions, giving children the opportunity to try on David Beckham's boots and Peter Schmeichel's shirt, while 10 children partaking in a quiz can win an exclusive coaching session.
