Consisting of 200 acres of beautiful countryside, Nowton Park is a fabulous place to go for a day trip. Landscaped in classic Victorian style over a century ago, the Park is now home to a nature conservation programme and is kept with leisure and recreation in mind.

If fresh air and stunning surroundings are what you want, then pull on your walking boots, grab the kids and the dog and head to Nowton. There are plenty of walks to venture on, whether you want a short stroll or an hour long adventure.

Once you’ve immersed yourself in the flora and fauna at Nowton (and there’s a lot of it!) the Visitor Centre will provide for your every need. The café is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy some refreshments and if you’ve been playing sport, there are changing rooms on site. The building is also environmentally friendly with its energy generating cells.

For those sunny days when you’ve brought a picnic along with you, there is a picnic area adjacent to the Visitor Centre. Perfectly situated next to this is the children’s play area so you can scoff a sandwich and keep an eye on the kids while they expend some energy.

With its fantastic facilities and convenient location, Nowton Park is an extremely popular place for individuals and families to relax and explore the great outdoors.
